Are you ready to develop your team, instead of just assigning tasks? Try coaching them using my free desk reference:
If you’re here, then you’re here seeking more…
You’re capable, you’re ambitious, you’re successful… so why do you feel just plain fed up with your life right now?
Have a look and see if this resonates with you:
You are always running around in “damage control,” solving problems and coming up with solutions for clients (with little time left for your team or own needs.)
You rarely have the time to connect with your staff, let alone to step back and evaluate your purpose, processes or assumptions, let alone make intentional long-term plans for your organization, or your future, or set measurable goals!
The problem: You’re too caught up in the day-to-day minutiae of your projects to see things clearly; too close to your work to plan for yourself.
The solution: Create an opportunity to gain perspective and support as you evolve, reflect, and move forward with intention. (Because YOU matter.)
Had enough? Here’s the truth: change is legitimately difficult – especially on your own.
That’s where a performance coach can make all the difference. Let’s get you a wing (wo)man and set a course for a future that delights you.
The coaching program allowed me to gain deep insights into how I work and resulted in positive changes related to my professional development and interpersonal goals at the office. The format allowed for introspection and judgement-free guidance, which fits well with my self-directed learning style.”

I highly recommend coaching!”

Ready to see for yourself?
Working with a performance coach can benefit every area of your work and experience, from the short-term (such as leadership development or navigating life changes) to the long-term (such as yearly goal setting, team development, career planning and making amazing changes in your career path).
Here are some ways that coaching can transform your life:
You’re reactive, addressing problems with no clear sense of priority. You take on other people’s issues and tend to “bite off more than you can chew.” You can do anything, right? That’s what they pay you for.
You take action and solve problems with intention, allowing yourself the space to delegate or systematize where possible. You feel calm and at peace. Even better, you feel creative. You have… time… to… think!
You micromanage, and tend to do instead of lead. Your staff keep making the same mistakes, and in the end it all falls on you.
Your team is growing and thriving, and you are able to guide and support, rather than getting into the weeds and doing half the work yourself. You get some sleep. You go to the gym. You hang out with your people.
Any positive changes you make tend to fall off over time. You are easily swept up in circumstance, and lack a sense of long-term control.
You feel supported to maintain progress instead of slipping back into old habits. You have a system of reminders and accountability to keep your goals on track. You are aware of how making changes works for you.
You feel scattered, stretched in too many directions, running just a little behind, all the time.
You feel confident and connected with your purpose. You allow yourself the space to feel a renewed sense of creativity and enthusiasm.
You’re unsure of your effectiveness in the workplace. You struggle with time management, production quality, or meeting your success metrics.
You are unmistakably good at your job. You get things done, make great connections, and offer significant value to your company as a whole.
You are unsure of how your day-to-day actions fit in with “the big picture”, and of what you want in your life or career
You have a clear career trajectory that guides your actions and reflects your core passion. You have a long-term plan that challenges you and gives you a sense of purpose.
What’s great is that you CAN make these “after” scenarios a reality, but it’s going to take much longer if you try to figure it all out for yourself (that’s just what you need – more items on your ‘to do’ list!)
So let’s dig into why my coaching program may just be the support system you’ve been looking for all along…
As a strategic planner and performance coach, I have been guiding my clients through the process to envision, plan for, and create major change for 15 years.
I help cities, universities, and organizations make transformational plans that will guide their futures for years to come.
I’ve also been involved in organizational development, having trained with Peter Senge at MIT and as a coach at Cambridge University, and written strategic plans.
I’ve served on management teams, lead a 6-figure consulting company, and even worked a stint in advertising in Times Square.
So why am I offering my expertise as a performance coach?
Simply put, I care about you and your unique path. I want to help you craft a work-life that fills you with delight.
While I love helping cities of 60,000 people build a better future, I also want to help working professionals like YOU be your very best selves.
Change starts with us, after all – at the individual level.
“Working with Christina has been very helpful to build my confidence in my communications with my managers. I am able to get an outside opinion about the next step in my professional development from an expert in the field.
I can share frustrations, failures, and successes without it being part of my formal employee review and relationship with my manager.”
— Alllison L.
“I felt at a loss for some time in my professional life that I hadn’t been able to address. Christina’s attentive listening and personalized approach made for a level of trust where I felt I could speak and examine my feelings freely and identify actionable steps moving forward. I am truly appreciative for her support and highly recommend her to anyone seeking direction and growth in their professional and personal life.”
— Ranu A.
The big picture of my approach is simple: Envision the future you actually want, then map out the steps and personal work required to make it happen.
First, we talk about where you are now, and what your goals are. This includes all of your goals, including the ones you think you should have but might not want, the ones that scare you, and the ones that make you grin and do a little dance in your chair.
Then, we get specific about what your options are, and map out a plan to achieve your goals in a way that works for you and your current circumstances.
When the first round of planning is complete, we get into implementation, including working towards and even amending your goals as you learn and grow, as well facilitating the personal work you need to do to support the changes you are making.
This “personal work” isn’t necessarily about doing more, but about understanding how change happens, by respecting the process of change, and by working with yourself and your circumstances to support a change process. This takes repetition, and building an understanding of why you are doing what you are doing and how you might adapt to changes along the way. It’s good stuff.
Can you tell by now? I’m a Planner – with a capital “P.”
I have a degree in Planning. It’s in my job title. As a coach, it’s what I do… I help you plan (and do).
I love helping people choose their own adventure, and crucially, I am not afraid of change. I revel in my ability to adapt to unplanned scenarios, changes and choices that come up.
So, let’s do it, let’s make a plan…
First, we’ll talk about where you are today, and what you feel needs improvement in your personal and professional life. We’ll explore the existing conditions that are causing overwhelm or frustration in your life, and better understand the circumstances that brought you to me in the first place. Where are the glimmers that guide towards your future self?
After we set expectations for our work together, we spend time considering your passions and short / long-term goals. We ask: What lights you up? What motivates you? What options are available to you?
Here we define the start-to-finish roadmap you’ll take in order to achieve the life and career we mapped out in step 2. You will be able to understand each step in the process, take intentional action, and update or expand on the map over time, as circumstances change or life surprises you.
Every journey begins with what? That’s right… the first step. Fortunately, you’re not alone here. I’ll provide ongoing support and accountability as you work to pick up momentum, one action step at a time. Throughout this process, we evolve as we work and learn, ensuring that your energies are directed towards optimum results for you.
